Abstract :
The case of two middle-aged female patients with lichenoid lesions at their buccal mucosa were reported. The lesions were close contact with amalgam restorations and presumably caused by the restorative material. They were gradually developed and manifested white plaques lesions. Burning sensation was substantial when strong-tasted food was being taken. The treatment was attempted by replacing the amalgam restorative material with composite resin. The lesions and the burning sensations were disappeared. Treatment follow-ups were also done periodically upto 18 months and no recurrence was apparent.
