University Rule & Regulation /Student's Discipline
Students should respect and comply with the laws and obey values such as honesty and integrity as well as the preservation of the University sanctity.
Students should carry their student identification cards at all times when entering University grounds, and show them when called upon by staff members, instructors, and administrators.
Litigation and Arms
Students must settle dispute peacefully. They should abstain from bad conduct, provoking language threatening and oppressing others. They should not encourage conflict, dispute, or fight. They should also refrain from foul play and malicious action, which could lead to conflicts and bodily harm, incitement of hatred and jealousy, as they are considered reprehensible and unacceptable. Students caught engaging in such action are liable to disciplinary actions.
Use of property and equipment
Students must use the University properties and equipment with consideration and care.
Students should also follow instructions regarding the prohibition of certain activities and the reservation of facilities from, instructors, staff members and distinguished guests.
Students should not cause damage to University's properties, equipment and other assets.
Narcotics
Students must not bring narcotic substances to the campuses unless given explicit permission by the University
Students should not consume alcohol within the campuses or when in uniform.
Gambling
Students should not gambling, nor possess gambling equipment, nor visit places that are considered gambling den and other illegal premises.
Activities
Students should not use the University's name or student clubs or groups to carry out any activities without proper university's authorizations.
Students should not publish any documents, nor distribute / post any information, nor conduct any gathering, donation, selling activities without proper university's authorizations.
Regulations of Uniform and Dress Code for Day Program Students
Dress Code and Uniform
Students are required to wear clothes according to the University's Dress Code regulation. When wearing University uniform or any other symbol representing the University, students must behave responsibly, with dignity and grace. They should refrain from engaging in any inappropriate activities.
Student Uniform is mandatory for official and formal occasions:
1. In examination room.
2. Formal occasions e.g. Orientation day, Wai Kru day, Gown ceremony day, Last Orientation and Commencement day.
3. In classrooms.
Student Uniform for male students:
1. Plain white, short or long sleeve shirt. Sleeves may not be turned up. Shirt must be tucked into trousers. A university necktie may be worn properly.
2. Black or dark blue trousers (Slack)
3. Black belt with university buckle
4. Black leather shoes with black, dark brown or dark blue sock
Student Uniform, for female students:
1. Plain white, short sleeve blouse. Blouse should fit properly. University buttons are attached and the university pin is worn on the left side of the blouse. Blouse must be tucked into skirt.
2. Black or dark blue skirt at knee length.
3. Dark brown belt with university buckle
4. Black, white, brown, dark blue, gray leather shoes.
Remark: Jean trousers, pants or skirts are not allowed. Crisscross strap sandals, slip-on shoes, boots are prohibited.
Scoring System: All students have 100 points to start with. If more than 40 points are deducted, students will be suspended. If all 100 points are deducted, students will be expelled from Chulalongkorn University.
Student Discipline: 1. Follow university’s rule
2. Follow the principles of good moral
3. Dress according to the dress code
4. Stay away from all allurements that lead to ruin
5. Show student card when asked
